Description

Bring your creative passion and ability to write clear instructions on how to make something to our Shute Park Collaboratory.  Shute Park is looking for 2-3 volunteers to design instructional pamphlets for our makerspace.  Volunteers create written instructions for the various crafts in our maker space.  Those crafts include Button making; Needle Felting; Embroidery; Origami; Knitting; Amigurumi; Screen Printing; Ozobots; Cubelets; Scrapbooking; Lego Mindstorm; Strategic games including Chess and Rubik's Cubes; and Friendship bracelets.  The instructions should be clear, concise and easily used by a variety of patrons ages 10 and up.  Instructions will be translated into Spanish, if you can write in English and Spanish, great, but translation is not required of volunteer.  Creating instructional videos is also an option, those can be shared via the Library's You Tube channel.  A template for instructions will be provided.  This opportunity can be done remotely.
