Court-Ordered Service & Background Checks
Court-ordered community service must be pre-approved by the Volunteer Services Coordinator and requires passing a City of Hillsboro background check before any hours can be served. Individuals who do not pass a City of Hillsboro background check are not eligible to volunteer with the City of Hillsboro in any role, including at community events that do not normally require a background check.
