Library: Shute Park Tech Helpers Afternoons

Assist patrons with learning how to use their devices from smart phones to laptops, and occasionally how to use basic computer programs.  Must be patient, and able to explain clearly how to use a device, or to answer patron questions so they can get the most out of their desktop, laptop, smart phone, smart watch etc.  Bilingual skills helpful but not required.  An ability to work with a wide array of age groups, but a special sensitivity for working with elders is important, as they are the ones most likely to make use of this service.  Ability to work in both android and apple products highly desired, with an above average understanding of the operating systems and how to navigate them on the various devices.
