Help bring the library to where the people are! This summer the Library on the Loose van will traverse the city with games, activities and live performances hosted by the library and our City partners! Patrons can sign up for library cards, grab a summer reading book, return books, participate in an activity, game, or watch a performance at their neighborhood park! Volunteers will help set up the mobile book cart, unload the crates of activities, give aways, and games. During the event you might be helping people select a summer reading book, helping them play a game or do an activity, or helping with crowd control during a performance. You'll be busy! These events are outside, we have a canopy and tents should it rain. please note when temperatures approach 100 these events may be cancelled, you will be notified. Please meet the van at the Park location. Generally it is parked near a picnic structure, but if there is an unusual location, you will have the info or a number to text to find the van.
