On Thursday, September 11th, Hillsboro Parks & Recreation will be hosting a Staff Appreciation Event at Hidden Creek Community Center, and we need volunteer support! The shift is from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM with food, beverages, and breaks provided. Both event orientation and event teardown assistance are included in this shift. The volunteer roles are as follows. Assignments could change based on day-of needs:
Drawing Olympics Assistant (4 volunteers needed)
Bingo Attendant (3 volunteers needed)
Event Check-in Attendant (2 volunteers needed)
Scavenger Hunt Submission Attendant (2 volunteers needed)
All roles are low/moderately physical, and require positive, exuberant engagement with the public.

Inclement Weather Plan: This is an indoor/outdoor event with covered areas. Please come dressed appropriately. All volunteer roles will take place inside the facility, but volunteers are encouraged to visit all areas of the event during their provided lunch break.
