Library: Friends Fall Book Sale -Sales Associate 2025

Friendly, outgoing, customer service oriented volunteers are needed to help during the Fall Book Sale.  You'll help people find what they are looking for, make suggestions, keep things tidy, watch for people who need a bag or need their bag taken to the holds area, and help the cashiers bag sold items.  Some sales associates who are able, will assist with carrying purchases out to patron cars.  Volunteers should become familiar with the layout of the book sale, so taking people to what they are looking for goes quickly and easily.  Volunteers are encouraged to engage with our shoppers, but keep interactions, short, friendly, and positive, remember shoppers are here to shop, not talk about your favorite book.  People with prior retail customer service experience will do best in this role.
