Volunteers will help prepare newly donated and weeded books for the upcoming book sale. You'll help remove plastic covers, labels, and clean and inspect donated books for damage/quality. You'll help pack the books up for storage. Volunteers trained to research book values will research book values using the public computer space or on their own tablet or laptop. Great opportunity for people who love books, and love to follow instructions on this vital "first step" in preparing for an upcoming book sale. Most of the task can be accomplished sitting down, but be aware donated books can sometimes have musty, dusty smells. Some of these events occur after library hours, be sure to check the time listed. If it is an after hours event (starting 6:00 PM on a Fri/Sat/Sun night), please arrive no later than 5:55 PM to get into the library before it closes, follow signs to work area).
