Library: Friends Spring Book Sale Set Up 2026

Get a work out while sorting, alphabetizing, and shelving books and other media for the spring book sale.  Set up volunteers follow precise instructions on how to sort, alphabetize and shelve sale merchandise.  Occasionally you may help with the set up of light weight shelves or tables.  Volunteers must read and understand the English language, be able to stand, bend, twist, grasp, reach, lift, and work in somewhat tight aisles to accomplish the task.  Must be able to concentrate and follow the instructions given on how to alphabetize and then take the items from the sorting tables to the actual shelves in the prescribed order.  Two shifts available per set up day, perfect for small groups.  Must be at least 15 years of age and able to volunteer for the duration of the shift period.
