Library: Friends Book Sale Tear Down 2026

Description

After the book sales are over, there are always left over items that didn't sell.  Volunteers will help remove items from shelves, box up any that will be returned to storage, or prepare items that will be discarded or donated for their final destination.  You'll help break down the wire shelving, remove signs, tape from tables, and generally get the sales room ready for the movers to come in and take away the hardware.  Physically demanding job, lots of bending, reaching, twisting, turning, standing, some lifting.  Should be agile enough to navigate crowded walkways, and cluttered areas.
