Help us celebrate the Parks & Recreation staff who serve our community every day! Volunteers will support the Parks All Staff Appreciation Event at Hidden Creek Community Center and help create a welcoming, fun, and organized experience for staff.
Volunteer assignments may vary based on event needs and could include:
Assisting with bingo and other activities
Welcoming staff and helping with event check-in
Serving as an event floater to answer general questions and provide directional support
Helping with event setup and tear down
Assisting with other event needs as they arise
Volunteers will receive instructions and any necessary training when they arrive. Staff will be available throughout the event to provide guidance and support.
Commitment
Volunteers are asked to serve from 10 am–3 pm on Friday, September 4. Breaks, lunch, and beverages will be provided.
Desired Skills and Abilities
This opportunity is moderately physical and may include standing, walking, lifting light event materials, and moving between indoor and outdoor spaces.
We are looking for volunteers who are:
Friendly, welcoming, and comfortable interacting with others
Flexible and willing to help where needed
Comfortable answering basic questions and providing directions
Enthusiastic about helping create a fun and positive event
Please dress comfortably and appropriately for both indoor and outdoor activities.
