On Saturday, September 21, Hillsboro Parks & Recreation is celebrating our annual OrenKoFest at Jerry Willey Plaza in Orenco Station and we need help from our volunteers! The shift is from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM with food, beverages, and breaks provided. Both event orientation and event teardown assistance are included in this shift. The volunteer roles are as follows, but assignments could change based on day-of needs:
- Prize Wheel Attendant
- Youth Activities Attendant
Both roles alternate throughout the shift, are moderately physical, and require positive, exuberant engagement with the public.
