Volunteer advocates are carefully selected service-oriented community members, that must pass a 40 hour training (provided by the Hillsboro Police Department). After training there is a monthly time commitment of 24 hours. Additionally volunteers with this team commit to working specific shifts per month to provide on-scene crisis intervention and support for victims.  If you have a passion for helping people and can commit to the above requirements then apply today!
